Foxy Lady (1992)

Released in 1992, Foxy Lady (also known by its Italian title Spiando Marina or The Smile of the Fox) is a gritty erotic thriller that blends elements of “noir” suspense with the high-stakes world of organised crime.

The Plot

The story follows Mark, a former Miami police officer turned hit-man, who is deeply scarred by a corrupt past and the tragic loss of his family. While holed up in a hotel preparing for his next contract, he becomes obsessed with Marina, a beautiful woman living in the apartment across from his.

What begins as voyeuristic fascination quickly evolves into a high-risk affair. As the two grow closer, they dream of escaping their dark lives together. However, their path to freedom is blocked by Marina’s pimp—a powerful and dangerous drug baron. Mark must navigate a web of betrayal and violence to see if a man with no future and a woman with a troubled present can ever truly find a way out.
